With pumpkin spice season nearing an end, it’s officially time to move on to holiday treats. Perhaps that means hunting down some new peppermint-flavored goodies or maybe it’s as simple as swapping your pumpkin spice latte for a steaming mug of hot cocoa.
If hot chocolate makes your list of favorite winter treats, get ready for a new way to enjoy it: amaretto hot cocoa Milano cookies! Filled with indulgent flavors, the cookies feature rich dark chocolate and almond flavor concealed between two crisp cookies.
Just in time for the holidays, the cookies will be available in 7-ounce bags at retailers nationwide beginning in early November.
This is far from the first seasonal flavor from Milano, as last year’s holiday season also brought us two new drink-inspired cookie flavors: caramel macchiato and Irish cream, both of which are still available exclusively at Target stores nationwide.
The brand also brought back their pumpkin spice cookies in September, which have rich chocolate in the middle like regular Milano cookies, but also include a layer of pumpkin spice filling. These treats are available at Target, Walmart, Kroger and Publix, but you may want to hurry, as they won’t be around for long.
If you prefer more classic holiday flavors, you can also buy Milanos flavored with peppermint, cinnamon chocolate and candy cane. There is even a toasted marshmallow flavor if you’re more interested in holding on to summer a bit longer. Pepperidge Farm has a variety of cookies that are perfect for the winter holidays, as shown in the brand’s Facebook post below:
Not enough to satisfy your holiday cravings? Starbucks Peppermint Mocha flavored coffee will be returning to stores soon for a limited time, Häagen-Dazs Peppermint Bark ice cream is already back, and Stuffed Puffs has a new peppermint bark marshmallow that you can drop in glass of warm milk to make an instant peppermint hot chocolate!
What is your favorite holiday flavor?
