An annual report released Tuesday says some dangerous, recalled toys are still being sold online and other outlets.
The 31st “Trouble in Toyland" report released by the U.S. PIRG Education Fund says 44 types of toys are under recall, including hoverboards and children's jewelry.
Other toys may contain lead in the paint and small magnets. There are also reports of charging cords overheating.
Parents are urged to shop at reputable stores and online retailers that they know and trust.
Always use caution when buying toys at flea markets, garage sales and thrift stores.
