Not every state has an Apple. But tech companies are headquartered all across the country, and data company Utopia recently mapped them all out. They based their list on Fortune 100 and Inc. 5000 data to figure out the highest-earning tech company in each state. From healthcare to consumer electronics to online shopping, all kinds of tech companies are represented on the list. Top earners include Apple (California), Amazon (Washington) and AT&T (Texas). At the other end of the spectrum are the lesser knowns, such as Rockwell Collins (Iowa), Pedigree Technologies (North Dakota) and Mammoth Networks (Wyoming).
