(NBC) - The annual list of top stolen vehicles in the United States was just released by the National Insurance Crime Bureau.
The 1996 Honda Accord was the most stolen car in 2015 with 52,244 of them taken from their owners.
The 1998 Honda Civic was the second most stolen, followed by the 2006 full-size Ford pickup, the 2004 full-size Chevrolet pickup and the 2014 Toyota Camry.
The 2015 Nissan Altima was found to be the most stolen "new car." Thieves nabbed more than 1,000 of them.
