Volvo has issued a recall alert. The Swedish automaker is recalling more than 300,000 vehicles, including the popular V70, XC70 and the S80 models.
The recall order is for vehicles made between the years 2007 and 2018. Vehicles produced during this period of time may have seat belts that fail to adequately restrain passengers in the event of a crash.
Volvo will notify owners whose cars may be affected, so dealers can replace the seat belt anchor cable for the driver and passenger side seats.
The recall is expected to begin Aug. 25.
