Monday, a prosecuting attorney indicated that we may soon hear from a fingerprint expert who worked to identify the victims of the Aurora theater shooting.

The prosecution is in the third week of their case against defendant James Holmes, who is accused of killing 12 people and injuring 70 others in the July 20, 2012 shooting. The DA's team has also presented evidence of the booby traps and other relateditems found within the defendant's apartment, including a wall calendar with the date of the shooting marked.

Recent days have also included testimony about the gunman's purchases prior to the shooting and acquaintances who knew him as a PhD candidate.
