Outside the Peter and Julie Cummings Library in Palm City on Wednesday, voters moved quickly to cast their ballots.
"[It was] real smooth, no wait. I walked right in," said voter Jason Glenn.
He said he used his lunch break to cast his ballot.
"I think there's a lot of stuff getting blown out of proportion, but here it was very easy and no hassle and no pressure," Glenn said.
"It was perfect, got the ballot walked in, walked out. It was awesome. It's full in there, but the process is so quick," said voter Diane Barnes.
Along the Treasure Coast, the total numbers may be smaller than in South Florida, but the turnout percentages are still impressive. Voter turnout in the three Treasure Coast Counties is now either at or above 50 percent.
Leslie Swan, the supervisor of elections in Indian River County, has been pleased by the high turnout.
"We sent out about 54,000 mail ballots. The most I can recall ever was about 29,000, so we have been very busy," Swan said.
Outside the early voting location at the St Lucie Civic Center, voters sai the wait to vote was only about 15 minutes Wednesday.
"It was very organized and moving fast," said Lilly Velera, who moved to St Lucie County from Miami a few years ago. "I think it's a little more crowded in Miami a little more disorganized."
For both mail-in and early in-person voting, so far, more than 68,990 people have voted in Indian River County.
In St. Lucie County, the total is more than 110,719. In Martin County, more than 70,604 people have voted.
Voter registration in Martin, St Lucie and Indian River Counties is now more than 460,000.
