Is Apple working on a tracker to help monitor blood sugar for those with diabetes?
CNBC reported this week that it is. A reporter said she had multiple sources close to the project that say a team of about 30 people are working on glucose-sensing technology.
The project was inspired by Apple's late CEO, Steve Jobs.
"They are trying to figure out a way to non-invasively and continuously monitor blood sugar. That's something that's never been done before," the reporter says on CNBC.
The efforts by Apple have been going on for about 5 years, according to reports.
