Seven new non-travel related cases of Zika reported in Florida

Health officials reported seven new non-travel related Zika cases in Florida Tuesday. 

From the cases reported, six of them stem from the Zika zone in Miami Beach. The other case is from another area in Miami-Dade County. 

The total cases of local transmission in Florida is now 56.

The Florida Department of Health still believes ongoing active transmission is only taking place within the small identified areas in Wynwood and Miami Beach in Miami-Dade County.
