Three Martin County deputies have been honored by the state.
They were singled out for their generosity towards a homeless Navy veteran.
Deputies Andrew Adams, Joe Angelico and sergeant George Yacobellis helped the veteran find housing. It helped gets his life back on track.
Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody awarded them with the "Back the Blue" award Tuesday.
