A Parma Heights, Ohio, man arrested in December was indicted Wednesday on child endangerment charges.
James Barhams is accused of abusing a two-year-old girl. Court records show that Barhams threw the child victim onto a couch, causing her to strike the furniture and fall on the floor, landing on her face.
The incident resulted in a bruise to the child’s left cheek, swelling above her left eye and an abrasion to the right side of her neck. She also suffered a bruise to the right side of her forehead.
Records show that Barham has a prior conviction of child endangerment, which was handed to him in 1999.
