A sonogram captured an emotional moment showing twins, a brother and sister, holding hands.
However, doctors told the parents to-be, Ian and Brittani McIntire, they don't think the little boy will make it.
The child has a hole in his heart and an abnormal brain. If he makes it through the pregnancy, doctors will deliver them by C-section.
If he doesn't make it, the family says they're comforted knowing his sister will be by his side.
"We know we have a piece of them together that will last forever, and it's special to have," said Brittani McIntire.
