WWE superstar John Cena is reportedly hopping into the driver's seat for the next 'Fast & Furious' film.

Actor Vin Diesel, who's played Dominic Toretto in the high octane and wildly successful franchise, posted a mysterious video on Instagram last week.

In it, he made reference to his close friend and former co-star, Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in 2013.

Thank you Pablo.

"Guys, as you know I'm always thinking fast, and think about the responsibility of making something iconic and deserving of your loyalty," Diesel said in the video. "I know this sounds crazy, but every blue moon, I feel like Pablo up there sends me someone. Another soldier for the fight for the truth. And today, someone came by that speaks to what Pablo would have brought me."

Diesel then panned the camera over to reveal Cena, who simply smiled and waved.

"All love, always," Diesel said before ending the the video.

Universal Pictures hasn't confirmed Cena's role in the film.

'Fast & Furious 9' is scheduled to be released in 2020.
