WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Red Cross is offering a Pet CPR class that may save your dog or cat's life.
The organization has introduced a new Cat and Dog First Aid online course that will help pet owners be prepared to deliver first aid care for their pets, including CPR.

Among the benefits of taking the course, the Red Cross says participants will:
- Learn how to check your pet’s vital signs
- Conduct preventative care for their pets
- Learn now to recognize and provide first aid for the most severe emergencies your pet may experience
On its website, the Red Cross also outlines a six-step process on how to perform CPR on your furry friend.
