Traveler says Delta flight to Florida 'mostly empty' with 'over 100 seats unused'

SALT LAKE CITY — The airline industry has been hit hard by the coronavirus with fewer people traveling.

However, if you are still taking to the skies, it appears you can find plenty of leg room and copious room for your carry-on luggage.

A Twitter user named @workingitoutnow said he was on a Monday morning flight from Salt Lake City to Orlando.

Video he recorded inside the plane prior to takeoff shows the Delta flight completely empty with the exception of a few crew members and passengers.

On Monday, Delta waived flight change fees as travelers cancel plans amid the coronavirus outbreak. Delta's policy is customers traveling to both international and domestic locations through April 30.
