(KPRC) Police in Houston, Texas are questioning a 10-year-old after the boy shot his father in the back.
Investigators say 40-year-old Antonio Alvarenga was driving his son and daughter to school Tuesday when Alvarenga's son, who was sitting in the back seat, allegedly pulled a gun from his backpack and shot his father once in the back.
When he heard the news that his friend and neighbor had been shot, never in a million years did Jose Correa think the man's 10-year-old son would be the gunman.
Alvarenga called Jose Correa from the hospital and initially didn't realize his own son had pulled the trigger.
"I asked of him, 'How did that happen?' says Correa. "And he told me that somebody told him that his son do it."
