The Orange County District Attorney has charged three people with multiple crimes stemming from an Independence Day weekend fight at Disneyland's Toon Town .
The July 6 fight was shared thousands of times across multiple social media platforms. The video shows children sobbing as the adults brawl.
The DA charged 35-year-old Avery Robinson of Las Vegas with five felonies for his role in the fight. In addition to the footage shared on social media, the DA's office said he threatened to assault a Disneyland employee with his car. He later allegedly threatened to kill his family members as they drove away from the park.
Robinson was charged with two counts of criminal threat, assault with a deadly weapon, battery with corporal injury and assault with force likely to produce bodily injury on a person with whom he is in a dating relationship. In addition, he was charged with nine misdemeanor counts. He faces a maximum of more than seven years in prison.
40-year-old Andrea Robinson of Compton, California — Avery Robinson's sister — was charged faces five misdemeanor charges. Four of misdemeanors are battery charges against her brother and his girlfriend. She faces a max of 2-and-a-half years in prison.
Andrea Robinson's husband, Daman Petrie, allegedly punched Avery Robinson's girlfriend in the face and was charged with a misdemeanor battery.
