3 in-demand jobs for high school graduates

The website CareerCast looked at data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and found some jobs that high school graduates can snap up. Today on the Buzz List Teresa Strasser is taking a look at three of the top gigs from the list.

3.  Plumber

They can earn a little over $51,000 a year. While you won't have to spend four years in college, you will most likely have to be an apprentice for about four to five years before a licensing exam.

2.  Electrician

It takes about four years to complete an apprenticeship, but if you survive you'll be raking in a little over $52,000. Fun fact, actor Liam Cunningham was an electrician for years before playing Sir Davos on Game of Thrones.

1.  Executive Assistant

They earn a little over $55,000 and while you don't need a diploma, a thick skin will definitely come in handy.
