An Alabama teenager is accused of killing his parents after being disciplined for throwing a house party, authorities said.

Jesse Holton was emotionless after his arrest, Time reports, citing Elmore County Sheriff Bill Franklin.

The 17-year-old has denied fatally shooting his parents, Mike and April Holton after he apparently upset them by throwing a drug-laden party and left the house a mess.

“He hasn’t shown any emotion at all. Most people would be bawling their eyes out if their parents had been killed,” Franklin said.

Time reports that Holton’s father is a former mayor of an Alabama town. He handcuffed his son in an attempt to discipline him.

“They had had problems with him in the past,” Franklin said, according to Time.

Holton will be charged as an adult.
