Wintry weather has hit areas of Michigan, New York, Vermont and Massachusetts this week, bringing the first snow of the season.
A system tapped into cold air, dropping wet snow in several lower Michigan locations, including Saginaw, Mt. Pleasant and Ludington.
Weather.com reported that minor accumulations are expected at some lower elevations.
Areas of upstate New York will only make it into the upper 30s on Thursday.
