MONROVIA, Calif. (KABC/CNN) -- A massive black bear was spotted wandering a neighborhood Friday morning in Southern California.
Aerials show the bear roaming from house to house.
Several news reporters and photographers arrived at the scene as the bear made its way into the yards of several homes.
Just after 9 a.m. local time, authorities tranquilized the bear and took it away in a truck.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife website says between 30,000 and 40,000 black bears live in the state.
