The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be in New York for the first time this weekend.

Prince William and Kate will be here for three days beginning Sunday. They have not been to the U.S. since 2011.

They will attend a private dinner for the American Friends of the Royal Foundation, according to The Daily Mail. The Royal Foundation is a charity founded in 2009 by the Prince and his brother.

The couple will also visit the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center.

Prince William will travel to Washington D.C. for a day and attend a conference at the World Bank. There, he is expected to promote a conservation charity, of which he is the president, called United for Wildlife.

The couple's child, Prince George, will not be part of the trip.

Also on Prince William and Kate's agenda is a visit to an inner city youth club on behalf of the Royal Foundation and a basketball game.
