Illusionist Criss Angel's Las Vegas show came to an abrupt end on Friday night after he passed out while performing a trick.
Audience members posted tweets and Facebook updates referencing an incident during the show, saying the show had been canceled shortly after starting.
TMZ reported that Angel was rushed to a hospital emergency room after passing out during a trick that involved him hanging upside down inside a straitjacket. The website reported Angel was discharged shortly afterward.
Angel has performed for several years at the Luxor on the Las Vegas Strip. His current show is called "Mindfreak Live."
Angel has also starred in several television series, including A&E's "Criss Angel Mindfreak," "Criss Angel Believe" on Spike TV and the reality-competition show "Phenomenon" on NBC.
