NEW JERSEY — Firefighters not only fought flames attacking vehicles at Newark Airport on Thursday morning, they fought Mother Nature.
The fire happened on the top deck of the Terminal C parking garage, according to ABC7NY.com . Twelve cars burned.
The extreme cold caused some of the water to freeze as the firefighters tried to put out the fires. Video from WABC television station showed heavy smoke and multiple cars on fire. There were several firefighters attempting to extinguish the flames.
There is no word yet on what sparked the fires.
