A woman in Texas made headlines for having an anti-Trump bumper sticker on her truck. Now she has a new one.
"F*** TRUMP AND F*** YOU FOR VOTING FOR HIM" reads the decal in bold white letters on the original bumper sticker. A hand with a middle finger extended sits in the middle of the decal.
Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls made the sticker viral by suggesting criminal charges could be filed against the driver, Karen Fonseca. Fonseca later was arrested on a separate charge for an outstanding warrant from 2014.
Fonseca told Houston-based KHOU she believes the arrest was made because of the sticker.
"I'm almost certain it does have to do with this," she told KHOU. "People abuse the badge, and in my opinion, money talks. When you're in politics, people know how to work the system."
The Fort Bend County District Attorney said the office had no plans to file charges regarding the sticker, according to KHOU. Nehls, meanwhile, deleted his original post.
That didn't stop Fonseca from adding a new sticker that reads, "F*** TROY NEHLS AND F*** YOU FOR VOTING FOR HIM."
