FDA proposes new guidelines to combat hacking

It's a threat at the hospital you may not even think about. The medical device the doctor is using on you could get hacked. Everything from x-ray machines to pace makers could be affected. 

Research and advisory firm, Forrester, is predicting medical-device hacking could be one of the biggest cyber-security threats this year. It's a big enough concern that now, the U.S. government is taking action.

The FDA is proposing new cyber-security guidelines for medical devices. The guidelines include having companies who make such devices identify and monitor how they could be susceptible to hackers.
