According to Forbes, the median salary for a firefighter is $45,600. Coming in at No. 2 on the list? Enlisted military personnel, with a median salary of $28,800.
Just a little less stressful than that, apparently — coming in at No. 3 — is a military general, with a median salary of $193,000.
