Authorities in McAllen, Texas are investigating an attempted jewelry store robbery at a mall, the city said on Twitter. Early reports indicated this was an active shooting situation but police said no shots were fired.
All known suspects are in custody and no injuries were involved.
Reports of shots fired are attributed to smashing glass cases, police said.
