Larger iPhone screen has prompted some to suggest it's too large for some women's hands

Bigger is always better, right? Well in the case of the new iPhone X models, that might not be the case.

Last week, iPhone unveiled several new, more expansive iPhone models that have a larger screen. The new iPhone screens now measure between 5.8 and 6.5 inches diagonally. This is compared to 4 inches diagonally for the now discontinued iPhone SE and 4.7 inches for iPhone 7 and 8 models.

The larger screens have prompted articles and critiques claiming the new iPhone Xs, Xr and Xs Max are too large for some women to grip. One such critique was published recently by the Telegraph in the UK.

Caroline Criado Perez, who is a British journalist, told the Telegraph, "It genuinely does affect women's hand health, women do buy more iPhones than men, it just baffles me that Apple doesn't design with our bodies in mind.

"We should be furious about this, we are paying just as much money for it as men for a product that doesn't work as well for us."

Perez is not the only one who says the new iPhone is too large. Others on social media have said a smaller screen is just fine.
