Sportswear giant Nike has launched a new collection to celebrate the upcoming Black History Month.
Shoe geeks should get excited — some NBA stars' lines are getting updates as part of the collection, as are Air Jordans and other styles.
The LeBron 12, KD7, Kobe 9 Elite and Kyrie 1 shoes each feature a fresh new look.
The 28-piece collection, including new black and white prints and apparel featuring a "BHM" logo, was created by Nike to honor six athletes across several fields: Theotis Beasley, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jerry Rice, Brianna Rollins, C. Vivian Stringer and John Thompson.
Black History Month starts Feb. 1, and Nike's new BHM collection launched today. It is available globally at nike.com and select retailers.
A portion of proceeds from sales of the 2015 BHM Collection go to the Ever Higher Fund, which supports organizations that leverage the power of sport to maximize the potential of underserved youth.
