Singer R. Kelly was released on a $1 million bond on Monday after pleading not guilty to 10 cases of felony sexual abuse.
Kelly was required to pay 10 percent of the $1 million bond. Kelly's attorneys originally said that the singer did not have the funds for bail.
Kelly turned himself into authorities on Friday, and spent the weekend in a Cook County, Illinois, jail. Also part of his bail agreement included Kelly turning over his passport.
His next hearing is scheduled for March 22.
