The Star Wars saga is finally coming to iTunes.
Disney and 20th Century Fox have announced on Starwars.com that for the first time, all six "Star Wars" films will be available to purchase at digital retailers such as Google Play, iTunes and Amazon.
The movies will not be rentable, but instead, they may be purchased individually or as a six-title set, and Disney and Fox say the downloads will also include what are being described as ‘never before seen’ bonus features. That incudes interviews with the filmmakers and Star Wars artists, deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes documentaries.
Starwars.com says the exact features accompanying each film will be set by the retailer as will each film’s price. For example, iTunes already has all six films up for pre-order at $19.99 apiece.
