A California high school student in a medical studies class volunteered as a test subject, and that led to the discovery of her heart abnormality.
Savannah Rudder, a junior at Gladstone High School who is an athlete, said she had a few symptoms but did not want to go to the doctor. An EKG was run on her during the class, and the instructor suggested she take the resulting information to her parents.
The student is now wearing a heart monitor. Watch this video to learn more.
