Hurricane Irma has been canceling flights across the U.S. to Florida and the Caribbean, but one flight flew right into the massive storm on Wednesday.

According to Flightradar24, Delta flight 302 took off from New York's John F. Kennedy airport at 8:39 a.m. Wednesday headed for San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Delta's website said the plane actually landed ahead of schedule, and according to Jalopnik, they were able to get to the gate, get people boarded and take back off toward New York in just 51 minutes.

A photo from Flightradar24 shows how the plane had to maneuver through Hurricane Irma's outer bands.
