AUDRAIN COUNTY, Mo. — A gas pipeline explosion rocked a community in northeastern Missouri early Sunday morning.
Flames were caught on camera shooting toward the sky when rescue crews arrived.
The pipeline is near Mexico, Missouri, about two hours west of St. Louis.
It took about 40 minutes for the flames to die down once the supply was cut.
The early-morning blast rattled the community.
"I've never heard something that loud before. It shook everything inside of me. I mean it literally sent me back in my seat," said Brandon Rombach, who heard the explosion.
No injuries are reported.
