A young girl spotted a man with rosy red cheeks and a beard walking around Wal-Mart last week in West Virginia. The girl used the opportunity to discuss her Christmas wishes with the man she believed to believe was Santa Claus.

The exchange was captured on a cell phone camera from a man inside the Wal-Mart in Hurricane, West Virginia.

Sophie found Santa at Walmart this evening. She saw him then kept sneaking up on him. She asked him if he was Santa at first and if you turn up the volume you can hear the rest. So cute and innocent. I love this!!

The unidentified man played the role of Santa Claus perfectly. The man told the girl, who is identified as Sophie, that he had heard that she had been a good girl this year. He got down to one knee to get on the girl's eye level and talk about the upcoming holiday.

"Sophie found Santa at Walmart this evening. She saw him then kept sneaking up on him. She asked him if he was Santa at first and if you turn up the volume you can hear the rest. So cute and innocent," said Robert Riley on his Facebook post with the video.

The video has been viewed nearly 500,000.
