A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of rapper XXXTentacion.

The Broward County Sheriff's Office says that 22-year-old Michael Boatright was arrested and charged with first-degree murder charges in connection with XXXTentacion's shooting death on June 18.

BCSO also said Boatright was already in custody after being arrested on an unrelated drug charge last week. According to the press release, the sheriff's office maintains that Boatright was one of the two gunmen involved in the incident.

Police maintain the XXXTentacion, whose legal name was Jahseh Onfroy, died of gunshot wounds suffered in a failed robbery attempt on June 18.

Dedrick Williams has also been charged with murder in the case. He plead not guilty last month to first-degree murder charges.

Police say they're still seeking two suspects who they believe are involved in the shooting — another armed gunman and 22-year-old Robert Allen, who they believe may have more information about the shooting.
