LAKE PARK, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said a man is dead following a shooting Sunday evening in Lake Park.
Deputies responded to the 800 block of Jasmine Drive just before 7:30 p.m. and found a man shot to death.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Teri Barbera said the suspected shooter, Joshua McElhenney, 44, was arrested at a hotel in Miami-Dade County on a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm.
It's believed McElhenney and the victim knew each other, Barbera said.
Detectives were investigating the incident as a homicide.
