New Hampshire residents ready to vote

I visited a Londonderry diner that wards off the bone-chilling cold. There is plenty of food and hot coffee.  Politics adds the spice.

It's that time again for New Hampshire residents to vote their preference in a presidential primary.

"Bernie Sanders appeals to me right off the bat, just his honesty, says Jason Emerson.

Emerson is a registered Independent. He once voted for Bush. Another time, Clinton. He wants something different now

"If they could run together it would be great," he says. Who are you referring to? "Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump."

Nancy Smith and Anita Perry are Republicans. Religious faith is their guide.

"(Ted) Cruz was at our church and his testimony was very inspiring," Smith says.

"I feel very strongly about preserving life and that is a very big issue for me," adds Perry.

They like Carly Fiorina too --no matter her low poll numbers. They like democracy in action.

"I think it's exciting and a privilege. New Hampshire gets all this attention every 4 years," Perry says.
