Although a recount is underway, Gov. Rick Scott appeared with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in Washington as he held a photo/video availability in his leadership office with newly-elected Republican senators.
Scott was asked if there was fraud going on in Florida with the recount. He ignored the question.
Scott led incumbent Senator Bill Nelson in the unofficial, pre-recount tally by more than 12,500 votes.
Scott aides often make it clear that Scott himself has never directly claimed there is fraud, but instead has said there is a "possibility that fraud exists."
