Local non profits organizations, like Friends of the Palm Beaches and Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful, say especially after Hurricane Dorian, the problem of plastic pollution isn’t going anywhere.

With the Gulf Stream not being too far away, South Floridians get a front seat to how severe the pollution is.

“It’s a great thing to see the light bulbs go off with the kids because the kids are inheriting this, and they are the ones who are going to save us,” says President of the Friends of Palm Beach Diane Buhler.
