SEAGATE BEACH, Fla. – Red tide is back on several beaches up and down Southwest Florida.
Conditions were so bad Sunday, people visiting Collier County told Fox 4 dead fish were floating around them in the water.
Collier County says it will collect new water samples Monday and provide an update on red tide concentrations by Tuesday.
Areas like Seagate Beach have seen the highest concentrations of red tide. A handful of other Collier County beaches, islands and passes have seen medium levels. Low levels are also present on Lee County beaches.

Dead fish have also been reported from Seagate to Gordon Pass and inside Naples Bay.
