A 19-year-old suburban Lake Worth woman faces vehicular manslaughter charges after a crash last year killed a 48-year-old driver.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrested Krista Kriebel on Thursday in the case.

According to a PBSO report, Kriebel was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana when the crash occurred just after 6 a.m. on Aug. 25, 2015 at the intersection of Hagen Ranch Road and Hypoluxo Road.

Kriebel is accused of running a red light, crashing into Lilia Hulbert of suburban Lake Worth.

PBSO says Hulbert was driving a 2014 Nissan Altima north on Hagen Ranch Road when she tried to make a left turn onto Hypoluxo Road.

Hulbert’s Altima was hit on the driver’s side by a 2013 Hyundai Sonata driven by Kriebel, which was heading east on Hypoluxo Road.

Hulbert died at Delray Medical Center on the day of the wreck.

Kriebel admitted to an investigator that she had smoked marijuana before the fatal wreck.
