Authorities say three Palm Beach County men have been arrested in connection with the murder of an off-duty Coral Springs firefighter.

39-year-old Christopher Randazzo was last seen early Saturday leaving a seaside restaurant where he worked as a bartender before becoming a firefighter. His body was found outside a hotel in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

The Broward Sheriff's Office says the suspects were fleeing that night from a shooting in Lantana.

Working with Lantana Police and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, investigators arrested 19-year-old Torrey Holston of West Palm Beach, 20-year-old Jose Garcia Romero of Greenacres, and 32-year-old Marco Rico of Royal Palm Beach.

The Broward Sheriff's Office identified Holston as the gunman and said he, along with his accomplices Romero and Rico, will face charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and conspiracy.

The sheriff's office said two others, which they called "involved parties," are not facing charges at this time.

Investigators said statements and evidence tied the trio to the attempted murder in Lantana and the shooting of Randazzo.

They say evidence from both scenes as well as statements tied the suspects to both incidents.
