PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — A crash caused a mess in Palm Beach County Friday during the morning commute.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, the wreck happened around 8:15 a.m. near Belvedere Rd. and Jog Rd.
There was heavy damage to the vehicles, one of which leaked more than 700 gallons of diesel fuel onto the road and into a storm drain.
Firefighters quickly responded and contained the spill, and are in the process of cleaning up the road.
One person was taken to the hospital with injuries.
Palm Beach County's Emergency Operations Center, as well as the Department of Environmental Protection and Department of Transportation have been notified about the wreck.
