Deputies are investigating a robbery at a TD Bank in suburban West Palm Beach Wednesday morning, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators were called to the branch near Okeechobee Boulevard and Military Trail.
A man entered the bank, passed a note, received cash and left in a gray sedan, according to the sheriff's office.
The suspect was described as a white male in his twenties, approximately 6 foot tall and slender build. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and dark shoes with white laces. The suspect implied he had a weapon but one was not seen. Source: PBSO
Ebony Elliott, who works nearby, said the news was unsettling. "Yeah, definitely does concern me because I'm a server here at Applebee's; you know I want to make sure that I'm safe coming to work. I want to make sure that when I leave work with the money that I am caring I don't get robbed."
Anyone with information is urged to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 800.458.TIPS.
