A father faces charges in connection with a shooting that injured his 7-year-old son last summer.
On July 10, Gabriel Brown brought his boy to St. Mary’s Medical Center.
He said his other child accidentally shot the boy with a handgun.
Detectives charged Brown with culpable negligence.
After the shooting, the child was in stable condition. A third child was also in the home at the time.
The Department of Families and Children and the State Attorney's Office is also investigating
Brown is expected to appear in court Thursday morning.
