PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspicious death after a fire broke out at a mobile home park near Palm Springs on Friday.
Just before 6 a.m., deputies responded to a fire at 106 Dolittle Rd., located in Mar Mak Colony Park off Lake Worth Rd.
As Palm Beach County Fire Rescue personnel extinguished the mobile home fire, one man was found dead outside and another victim was found injured.
The injured person was taken to a local hospital to be treated.
PBSO deputies spent all day Friday at the scene investigating, as Fire Rescue officials looked into how the fire started.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., the sheriff’s office impounded a four-door Lexus GS 400. It's unclear how this vehicle is connected to the incident.
Neighbors WPTV tried to speak with did not want to go on camera.
The investigation remains open and the sheriff’s office said they won’t release the name of the deceased until his next of kin is notified.
