DIRTY DINING: Restaurants in Greenacres, Lake Worth, Belle Glade hit with violations

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — A Lake Worth food truck was temporarily shut down after state inspectors found they had no water.

On Jan. 9, state inspectors temporarily closed Aloha Dogs on Lucerne Avenue in Lake Worth after inspectors found no hot or cold running water.

Howie's Hotdogs on Sea Pine Way in Greenacres was permanently closed because inspectors say they didn't have a license.

On Jan, 8, state inspectors found 10 dead roaches and three live roaches at Peking Place on South Main Street in Belle Glade, calling them repeat violations.

During an Jan. 9 inspection, 50 dead roaches were found at Pizza Corner on South Military Trail in Greenacres, along with 28 live ones.

All of the restaurants have re-opened except Howie's Hotdogs.

There was no report issued by the state for Howie's Hotdogs since they were closed for unlicensed activity.
