PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- A woman died in a crash on I-95 in Palm Beach County on early Saturday morning.
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says the 40-year-old Boynton Beach woman, who has not yet been identified, was driving a 2008 Toyota Camry southbound on I-95, south of the Hypoluxo Road exit at 2:02 a.m.
According to FHP, a 2016 Lexus IS200 struck the left rear of the Camry, causing it to strike a 2008 Dodge Avenger in the rear.
The Dodge Avenger overturned in the grassy shoulder and the driver was seriously injured.
The driver of the Toyota Camry died as a result of her injuries. Her passenger suffered serious injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Lexus IS200 suffered minor injuries.
